The press service of the OCU (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) commented on the incident involving the beating of the "Metropolitan" of Simferopol and Crimea, Clement Kushch.

After investigating the circumstances under which the representative of Dumenko's structure sustained bodily injuries, the OCU stated: "Based on the available evidence and testimonies, there are no grounds to assert religious or political motives behind the incident."

It was reported that the victim received the necessary medical care, and there is currently no threat to his life or health.

As the UOJ previously reported, on the night of September 10 in Kyiv, unknown individuals assaulted Klyment Kushch, the "Metropolitan" of Simferopol and Crimea of the OCU, who also serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
