Biden – to Phanar head: Feel free to contact me on any matter

On November 8, 2021, during a telephone conversation, US President Joe Biden assured Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople that he was ready to help him resolve any issues, according to the Greek newspaper Vima Orthodoxias.
Biden called Patriarch Bartholomew to сheck if the latter was well. When the head of Phanar thanked the President of the United States for the recent meeting at the White House on October 25, which lasted more than an hour, Joe Biden replied that "this meeting could last all year long."
At the end of the conversation, Joe Biden told Patriarch Bartholomew that he "should not hesitate to address him on any matter whenever he needs to."
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the head of Phanar complained to Biden about the actions of the ROC.
