On 13 July 2025, the Kamianets-Podilskyi Iconography Spiritual School named after the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke held a solemn ceremony to award diplomas to the graduates of the 2024–2025 academic year. This was reported by the press service of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Eparchy.

After the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky, the ceremonial part was led by Metropolitan Theodor of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Horodok. The archpastor blessed the graduates for their future service and addressed them with words of guidance.

The school’s rector, Archpriest Vadym Hadzhaman, together with the metropolitan, presented diplomas to the seven graduates, as well as personalized gifts to commemorate their years of study. The rector thanked the archpastor, the teachers, the parents, and the parishioners of the cathedral for their prayerful and practical support of the educational process and for the shared efforts that made it possible to complete the academic year with dignity.

On behalf of the student body, the fourth-year class president, Sofiya Cherna, expressed words of gratitude to those gathered.

The graduates presented Metropolitan Theodor with a panagia depicting the Iveron icon of the Mother of God, which they had painted themselves.

After the official part, there was a group photo session and a festive meal with students, faculty, parents, and invited guests.

“As part of the celebration, an original video created by the graduates was presented. The video, styled as a short film about student life, combined elements of irony, humor, memorable moments, and deep gratitude,” the statement said.

With this event, the 2024–2025 academic year at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Iconography Spiritual School officially came to a close.

As the UOJ previously reported, future iconographers of the UOC defended their final projects in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
