UOC community from Cologne donated ultrasound machine to medical center in Bukovina
The center's leadership thanked the believers for their support and assistance provided.
The community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God, which operates in Cologne, Germany, has provided the Klishkovtsy Primary Healthcare Center with a new ultrasound machine. The charitable assistance from believers abroad has helped strengthen the technical base of the medical institution in Chernivtsi region. This is reported by the Department of External Church Relations of the UOC.
The center's management thanked the Orthodox Christians for their support and assistance provided. In turn, the believers thanked everyone who participated in fundraising, organizing and delivering the equipment to Ukraine.
"It is precisely through such joint endeavors that living Christian love and true unity are manifested," noted the rector of the Cologne community, Archpriest Sergiy Gaevsky. The clergyman wished all participants in the initiative God's reward for their open hearts and compassion.
