International lawyer of the UOC Robert Amsterdam commented on the attempted attacks on him by lobbyists persecuting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
On his X page, the human rights defender emphasized that those attacking him (someone who was arrested by Putin and deported from Russia) for his defence of the UOC never engage with specifics.
"There is no evidence that the UOC is tied to Russia. Zelensky wants to rid Ukraine of independent institutions," Amsterdam drew a parallel.
As reported by the UOJ, Robert Amsterdam previously stated that one call from Trump is enough to stop the UOC persecution.
