His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry sent a congratulatory message to Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopil and Kremenets on the day of the 35th anniversary of his episcopal ordination. This is reported by the UOC press service.

In his congratulations, His Beatitude noted the devotion of His Grace Sergiy to the Church of Christ, his sacrificial service and spiritual feat during the years of trials.

He emphasized that the archpastor, having chosen the path of service, showed faithfulness to Christ and His rational flock, earning deep respect from the clergy and believers.

"Knowing the secrets of Your heart and contemplating Your tireless labors, Christ the Chief Shepherd placed in Your hands the staff of archpastorship to keep in integrity and safety His rational flock, which He acquired for the Kingdom of Heaven with His precious Blood. Over the years of Your fruitful archpastoral labors, You have earned deep respect from the episcopate, clergy and believers of our Church," the congratulation states.

The Primate wished His Grace health, peace and consolation in the Holy Spirit, so that his labors would continue to bring abundant salvific fruits to the glory of God.

As the UOJ reported, the Ternopil Eparchy of the UOC transferred 400 thousand hryvnias to Ternopil residents affected by shelling.
