On April 10, 2026, the Security Service of Ukraine warned of ongoing attempts to destabilize the situation inside the country during major religious holidays. In a statement published on its official website, the agency said that provocations and information-psychological operations were being prepared.

The special service urged citizens to exercise particular caution when attending festive events. “We call on Ukrainians to be especially vigilant while attending mass events and not to give in to provocations or incitement to illegal actions,” the SBU said.

The faithful are being asked to promptly report to law enforcement any suspicious objects or individuals that may pose a potential threat. At present, law enforcement agencies are operating under an enhanced 24/7 regime.

The agency also stressed the need for strict compliance with safety rules. Citizens are asked not to ignore air-raid alerts, to take shelter, and to observe the established curfew.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that police had announced “selective checks” near churches during Pascha.
