On the day of the Translation of the Relics of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, a festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Gregory's Church in the city of Bari (Italy). As reported by the community of believers, on this day the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrated its patronal feast.
The divine service was led by UOC clerics from various European countries. During the Liturgy, special prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine.
After the service, the clergy and faithful performed a moleben and akathist at the relics of Saint Nicholas in the crypt of St. Nicholas' Basilica.
As the UOJ reported, UOC hierachs celebrated a service at Saint Nicholas' ralics in Bari. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas in the Italian city of Bari is one of the main centers of veneration of the saint, where his relics rest.
