In the Rivne Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a traditional automobile procession to the hermitage of Saint Anna the Righteous in the village of Onyshkovtsy has begun. This was reported by the diocese's press service. This was reported by the press service of the Rivne Diocese.

On June 7, 2026, on the Sunday of All Saints, clergy, monastics, and numerous faithful set out from the St. George Metochion of the Gorodok Holy Nicholas Women's Monastery. The participants of the procession accompany the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "The Only Hope of the Hopeless," before which the Venerable Amphilochius of Pochaev prayed.

According to a long-standing tradition, Orthodox residents of Volyn make a pilgrimage with the holy relic to the hermitage of Saint Anna on the first Sunday after Pentecost, offering prayers for peace, prosperity, and God's help for the Ukrainian people.

Before the beginning of the procession, a prayer service was held. The faithful prayed for the end of the war, for Ukraine's defenders, for people who have lost relatives and homes, as well as for all who need support and comfort.

As noted by the diocese, among the participants of the procession are many mothers, wives, and relatives of military personnel who pray especially fervently for their loved ones.

The abbess of the Gorodok Monastery, Abbess Michaela, reminded that processions with holy relics have long been an important part of the spiritual life of Volyn.

"Today, when war continues in Ukraine, our land especially needs prayer. We have gathered together to ask the Lord for peace, protection for our warriors, and God's blessing for the Ukrainian people," emphasized the abbess.

Previously, pilgrims covered the path to the hermitage on foot, but in recent years, considering security issues, the procession is conducted as an automobile convoy.

As SPJ reported, in Radyvyliv, UOC faithful held a traditional procession for peace.
