UOC deliveres humanitarian aid to 100 families of displaced persons

On June 27 in Kyiv, employees of the Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church held another distribution of humanitarian aid for families of internally displaced persons, as reported by the UOC Social Department.

100 families affected by the war and facing difficult life circumstances received assistance. They were provided with food packages as well as essential household and personal necessities.

The UOC noted that such support is especially important for elderly people, large families, and those who were forced to leave their homes and lost their usual sources of income.

The Social Services Department also reminded readers that its "Stories of Those We Serve" series shares the stories of people who seek assistance, highlighting their hardships, hopes, and experiences in overcoming challenges.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Khmelnytsky Eparchy of the UOC delivered 20 tons of aid to hospitals and social institutions.
