In the Kharkiv Region, large numbers of believers took part in a cross procession to the site where the Kazan-Vysochynivka Icon of the Mother of God appeared. The traditional procession brought together clergy and laity of the Izium Eparchy, who walked from Holy Trinity Church in the town of Zmiiv to the holy spring in the village of Vysochynivka, the Izium Eparchy reports.

On July 21, 2026, with the blessing of Archbishop Ioann of Izium and Kupiansk, festive celebrations were held in the Zmiiv Deanery. After arriving at the holy spring where the icon was found, the clergy celebrated a water-blessing prayer service. The district dean congratulated the rector and parishioners of the Vysochynivka church and conveyed greetings from the ruling bishop to all those present.

After the prayer service, pilgrims had an opportunity to immerse themselves in the waters of the spring for spiritual and physical strengthening. The festive day concluded with a communal meal and entertainment for Sunday school students.

As previously reported by the UOJ, a procession with the relics of St. Avvakum of Cherkasy was held in the Cherkasy Eparchy.
