The Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC delivered medicines and hygiene supplies to the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra. The humanitarian initiative was carried out with the blessing of Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy reports.

On September 6, after the festive Sunday service, parishioners of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi donated 30,000 hryvnias. The funds were used to purchase essential medicines, medical supplies and personal hygiene products.

The medical aid was sent to the monks of Sviatohirsk Lavra and internally displaced people. The monastery is currently sheltering refugees who have lost their homes or fled temporarily occupied territories.

The eparchy thanked everyone who contributed to the fundraiser for their compassion, concern and support for people in need.

As previously reported by the UOJ, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy delivered humanitarian aid to the regional hospital.
