Bukovyna faithful bring humanitarian aid to Kherson region residents

Food for residents of frontline communities was delivered to Holy Spirit Cathedral of the Kherson Eparchy in Kherson, the eparchy’s Telegram channel reported. The shipment arrived on October 2, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna.
According to the report, the food was delivered through the efforts of Archbishop Veniamin of Khotyn. It will be distributed to residents of frontline communities in the Kherson region.
As the UOJ reported, the parish of St. Nicholas Church in Dnipro provided aid to residents of the Kherson region. Orthodox communities from various regions of Ukraine have repeatedly sent food and other essential supplies to areas near the front line.
