On the Feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, together with clergy and faithful of the eparchy, led a motorcade religious procession around Khmelnytskyi, carrying an icon of the Protection of the Mother of God.
Clergy and parishioners of St. Nicholas Cathedral accompanied the hierarch on the prayerful journey around the city. Along the way, Metropolitan Victor read the Akathist Hymn to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos.
At the four main entrances to Khmelnytskyi, Metropolitan Victor sprinkled the roadside veneration crosses with holy water. Prayers were offered at each cross for Ukrainian soldiers, the city’s residents, and the entire Ukrainian people.
As the UOJ previously reported, UOC faithful held a motorcade religious procession around Kropyvnytskyi.
