Gabbard, who criticized Zelensky for banning UOC, heads U.S. Intelligence
The U.S. Senate confirmed Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
February 13, 2025 – Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Director of National Intelligence, Voice of America reports.
As National Intelligence Chief, Gabbard will oversee 18 intelligence agencies, manage a $100 billion budget, and serve as the chief intelligence advisor to President Donald Trump. The publication notes that her confirmation marks another victory for President Trump.
Gabbard has repeatedly criticized Zelensky for his persecution and ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Additionally, she is listed on Ukraine’s Myrotvorets website (a scandalous 'peacemaker' website created during Poroshenko's rule and known for collecting personal data of 'disloyal' people to make them a target for persecution by authorities. Prohibited by international organizations, in particular the UN – Ed.) for "spreading Russian propaganda."
