The "Lavra's OCU abbot" emphasized that Zelensky is "accused of something," but his "strength of spirit and unwavering will" should serve as an example for all.

"OCU abbot" of the Kyiv Caves Lavra, Avrahamiy Lotysh, expressed his support for the current President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and his wife, Olena, in a Facebook post.

Lotysh stressed that despite the years of war, Zelensky has "not broken," while also noting certain "attempts to accuse him of something."

"Let everyone walk the difficult path that he walks every day," Lotysh unexpectedly suggested to Ukrainians.

After this, the "abbot" turned to express support for Zelensky’s wife, Olena. He stressed that her heart is "especially filled with great love for children left without parents, whom a Russian missile has killed."

In conclusion, Lotysh assured the Zelensky couple of the OCU’s prayers, which, according to him, are offered "in the main churches of the Lavra – the Assumption Cathedral, the Refectory Church, and the military garrison church." He stated that these churches were "liberated from the yoke of the ‘Russian world’ thanks to President Volodymyr Zelensky."

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Lotysh, it is incorrect to think that he was only considered a traitor after joining the OCU – it occurred just the other way around.
