Relics of Sts. Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv permanently given to Khmelnytskyi church
On the Feast Day of St. Nicholas, the relics from the Pochaiv Lavra were brought to the St. Nicholas Cathedral, which will henceforth become a permanent place of prayerful veneration for the faithful.
On December 19, 2025, on the Feast Day of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, a reliquary containing relics of Sts. Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv was brought to the St. Nicholas Cathedral of the UOC in the city of Khmelnytskyi. From now on, this great shrine will permanently reside in the church, reports the press service of the Khmelnytskyi diocese of the UOC.
The reliquary was transferred from the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra. The shrine was delivered to Khmelnytskyi by the abbot of the Lavra, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Pochaiv, who bestowed a special spiritual gift upon the cathedral.
From this day forward, the reliquary containing the relics of Sts. Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv will permanently reside at the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Khmelnytskyi, so that every believer may have the opportunity to venerate the shrine, offer prayers, and receive spiritual consolation and support.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that thousands of believers in Pochaiv celebrated the day of finding St. Job's relics.
