The public organization reported the destruction of a church in Velykyi Khodachkiv; authorities remain inactive.

New footage of religious sites under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine is published online, reports the UOC Information and Educational Department.

On February 8, the public organization "Ukraine Incognita" published photographs of the ruins of a church in the village of Velykyi Khodachkiv, Ternopil region, on its Facebook page. Activists accuse the Ministry of Culture of inaction, as a result of which the ancient temple has been virtually destroyed.

It is noted that in the Ternopil region alone, this temple is not the only example of destruction of architectural monuments. At the same time, as noted in the UOC, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine refers to "non-compliance with monument preservation conditions" as grounds for terminating contracts with UOC communities. Subsequently, such temples, revived by the Church from ruins, are used by authorities for culinary shows, dances, and concerts.

As the UOJ reported, the Ministry of Culture was previously accused of destroying a church in Kyiv due to negligence. At that time, the RCC in Kyiv stated that the department's inaction led to the collapse of structures in the historic building.
