The ruling bishop of the Vinnytsia Eparchy called for prayer for those killed and injured as a result of missile strikes on Ukraine.

Metropolitan Varsonofiy of Vinnytsia and Bar addressed the residents of Vinnytsia and all of Ukraine on the evening of March 24, 2026, expressing condolences to those affected by Russian missile strikes, reports the eparchy's press service.

The hierarch noted that the sounds of drone explosions shattered the spring silence and brought fear and destruction to the peaceful city.

Metropolitan Varsonofiy emphasized that the strikes hit residential buildings, hospitals, and social facilities, killing people and leaving dozens injured both in Vinnytsia and other cities of Ukraine.

«I express sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and injured. May the Merciful Lord strengthen all who have suffered losses, grant healing to the wounded, and give strength to endure these grievous trials of war," says the UOC bishop.

As the UOJ reported, in winter, warming stations were organized in the churches of the Vinnytsia Eparchy of the UOC.
