A US activist has been banned from entering the UK following controversial statements about migration, national sovereignty, and criticism of Islam.

On April 20, 2026, UK authorities revoked the entry permit of American activist Valentina Gomez ahead of her planned appearance in London, reports European Conservative.

Gomez is a 26-year-old Christian conservative activist of Colombian origin living in the USA and associated with the MAGA movement. In her speeches, she actively criticizes mass migration, advocates for strengthening national sovereignty and tightening border policy, and has repeatedly spoken critically about Islam.

She was supposed to participate in a rally in London organized by Tommy Robinson, however, despite a previously approved electronic permit, the UK Home Office revoked it, stating that her presence "would not be conducive to the public good."

The decision followed public pressure and her controversial statements that drew criticism from a number of organizations. This case once again raised questions about the boundaries of freedom of speech and the acceptability of restricting entry for foreign speakers with politically sensitive views.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that statistics revealed a systemic security crisis, recording nearly 4,000 attacks on religious sites in Britain over a year.
