The community in the city of Bend grew from a small group of believers founded in two thousand and three. Initially, services here were conducted only by visiting priests, but over time the believers created a full-fledged parish.
Now the church conducts active missionary work and positions itself as a hospital for the sick and a safe haven for those seeking communion with God. The parish bears the name of St. James of Alaska and strives to continue his enlightening traditions in America.
