UOC eparchies deliver aid to soldiers and those in need

UOC eparchies provided soldiers with special vehicles and delivered hundreds of kilograms of food to a care home.

Clergy and faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have sent humanitarian aid shipments to Ukrainian service members, social institutions, and low-income people. This was reported by the UOC Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Affairs.

In the Khust Eparchy, Bishop Mark of Rakhiv served a moleben for soldiers and blessed a humanitarian shipment for the front. Service members received a vehicle loaded with food, clothing, and hygiene products, as well as other vehicles for the needs of the army.

In Vyshhorod, in the Boryspil Eparchy, Archpriest Dionisiy Denysenko, rector of St. Panteleimon Church, together with the parish community, prepared strawberry jam for soldiers. Fresh berries were also delivered to employees of the State Emergency Service, service members, and patients of Vyshhorod Central Hospital.

Parishioners of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Dnipro visited a psychoneurological care home in the village of Zelena Dolyna. The faithful delivered about 439 kilograms of food and more than 1,300 sweet gift sets to the residents.

In the Oleksandriia and Poltava eparchies, aid for those in need was organized after Sunday services. In the village of Holovkivka, Archimandrite Christopher (Lysenko) distributed hot meals, while charitable meals were held in churches and monasteries in Poltava.

As the UOJ reported, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC delivered 20 tons of aid to hospitals and social institutions.
