At a checkpoint near Korosten, TCC officers detained Archpriest Serhiy Bovsunovskyi, a priest of the Ovruch Diocese of the UOC. This was reported by Archpriest Georgiy Kuznetsov on Facebook.
The incident occurred during a document check at a road checkpoint in Zhytomyr Oblast. After the detention, the clergyman was taken to the Territorial Recruitment Center of the city of Korosten.
Father Serhiy remains in the TCC building at this time. Orthodox Christians are called to intensified prayer for the detained priest.
As the SPJ reported, the TCC abducted a 58-year-old UOC priest in Kalush.
