Forty-six percent of respondents opposed renaming an alley in central Kyiv after Filaret Denysenko.

A proposal to rename Rylskyi Lane in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District after Filaret Denysenko, head of the UOC-KP, has divided participants in an online poll, with 54% voting in favor and 46% against.

OCU supporters held an event at the memorial plaque honoring Filaret on the 40th day after his death.

The poll was conducted through the Kyiv Digital mobile app. Organizers described Filaret Denysenko as an "outstanding church figure," citing his role in securing the Tomos of autocephaly and advocating for Church independence. However, the results showed that the proposal lacked overwhelming public support, with just eight percentage points separating supporters and opponents of the renaming.

As the UOJ previously reported, the OCU supported the proposal to rename the alley in Filaret's honor.
