The Ukrainian WBA, WBO and WBC lightweight world champion Vasily Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) said in the film “Hello, brother! Christ is Risen!" that the Lord gave him talent and strength to glorify the Orthodox faith.
“I know that I was a very vain person. I really sought that everyone would hear and find out what I am, what I’m doing in the ring. But the moment came when I realized that it wasn’t I who is such a fine fellow, but the Lord gave me these strengths and talent so that I could glorify the Orthodox faith,” said Vasily Lomachenko.
As reported earlier, boxers Usik and Lomachenko starred in a film about the friendship of brothers in Christ.
