People’s deputy Artem Dmytruk said on his Telegram channel that he managed to identify at least two people who caused a beating during the seizure of the UOC convent in Cherkasy.
According to him, they are the commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd OSB Dmytro Kukharchuk (call sign – "Slip") and his deputy Ihor Zaichuk.
"According to eyewitnesses, Kukharchuk directly led the seizure of the temple," wrote Dmytruk.
He recalled that "Dmytro Kukharchuk is that very "activist" who stormed the Office of the President in August 2021. Then their action ended up with the beating of police officers and the National Guard."
"What these werewolves in military uniforms were doing in Cherkasy and not on the front line, we have yet to find out. According to our information, they were undergoing treatment in Cherkasy. Interesting rehabilitation they have, isn't it?" the MP wonders and promises to send a parliamentary enquiry to the Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klimenko, the leadership of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.
"Information about the possible involvement of these persons in the crime will also be passed to the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission, which has already taken this case under control. I can also report that after my appeals, the initiated case on the fact of beating the believers was handed to the Military Prosecutor's office," said the MP.
Earlier, the UN Mission came to Cherkasy because of the seizure of the UOC convent.
