UOC to hold prayer service for peace on second anniversary of RF invasion

On February 24, 2024, on the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, molebens will be held in all temples and monasteries of the UOC, reports the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC.
Prayers will be offered in the temples for peace in Ukraine, for our defenders, and lity services will be served for those who have died and have been killed during this war.
The corresponding circular was sent by the Chancellery of the Kyiv Metropolis to all diocesan bishops of the UOC.
As the UOJ reported, the UOC published the text of a special prayer for Ukrainian soldiers.
