With the blessing of Metropolitan Agafangel of Odesa and Izmail, MP Artem Dmytruk has become a subdeacon, which he announced on his Telegram channel.

"Being a subdeacon (the highest rank of church servant and the lowest cleric of the highest degree) is a great honor and responsibility. I want to express my deep gratitude to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy and Metropolitan Agafangel for their trust," the MP wrote.

Dmytruk also assured that, with God's help, he will carry the title of subdeacon with dignity, serving God and people.

As the UOJ reported earlier, MP Artem Dmytruk stated that he would submit a deputy request regarding the unlawful detention of Metropolitan Arseniy in a pre-trial detention center.
