Trump's ally: Global elites want to establish the Antichrist's rule

On June 30, 2025, well-known American entrepreneur, co-founder of PayPal, and political ally of Donald Trump, Peter Thiel stated that global institutions are deliberately halting human development to make it more obedient and prepare conditions for the coming of the Antichrist.

According to the billionaire, progress in key areas such as science, medicine, energy, and space exploration is in a state of stagnation, which is not accidental but is purposefully maintained by global structures.

He noted that humanity has not achieved significant progress in treating diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease, despite decades of efforts.

Furthermore, he stated that nuclear energy, which could become a source of development in the 21st century, is effectively halted due to strict international regulation.

Thiel claims that one of the main reasons for stagnation is the influence of supranational structures such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which effectively control scientific policy not only in the USA but worldwide.

"It is at least a question about why we’ve had 50 years of stagnation. And one answer is we ran out of ideas. The other answer is that something happened culturally where it wasn’t allowed. And the cultural answer can be sort of a bottom-up answer, that it was just some transformation of humanity into this more docile kind of a species," he noted.

In Thiel's opinion, all the rhetoric around "peace and security", under which such control is promoted, is a kind of prelude to the power of the Antichrist. He referred to the words of the Apostle Paul from the First Epistle to the Thessalonians: "When they say, 'Peace and safety', then sudden destruction will come upon them" (1 Thess. 5:3).

"We live in a world where the slogan 'peace and safety' is used as a justification for total control. The real Antichrist will play on this fear. He will say, 'You must come with me to avoid catastrophe, Skynet, nuclear Armageddon"," said Thiel.

He also expressed concern about the possible creation of a "world government" that will control all computers on the planet under the pretext of preventing the creation of "dangerous A.I.". According to him, such control will become the basis of global digital totalitarianism.

Peter Thiel is one of the few representatives of the technological elite who publicly supports Donald Trump. He is also close to J.D. Vance.

His statements reflect the views of an influential part of the Republican circle, for whom the spiritual-political dimension of what is happening in the world is of primary importance.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that, according to monks from Germany, Orthodoxy in the EU opposes the dominance of the Antichrist.
