Bulgarian scientist: Random emergence of Universe is impossible

Bulgarian scientist Valentin Velchev, a biologist and theologian, made a sensational statement that the random emergence of our Universe is practically impossible from a scientific point of view. Velchev stated this in an interview with UOJ in Bulgaria.
Velchev's argument consists of two interconnected parts – mathematical and empirical. The mathematical basis is built on Georg Cantor's set theory. According to the scientist, the cardinal number of the set of real numbers, corresponding to the settings of physical constants, infinitely exceeds the cardinal number of the set of natural numbers, which can denote the number of possible universes. This makes the probability of our world arising by chance practically zero.
The empirical part of the argument relies on the most modern scientific discoveries. Velchev uses data from molecular biology about the incredible complexity of living organisms, results from experiments at the Large Hadron Collider, and observations from the James Webb Telescope on the early stages of the Universe's development. The scientist pays special attention to the discovery of excessively large and mature galaxies in the earliest periods of the Universe's existence. These galaxies contain heavy chemical elements, the appearance of which cannot be explained by existing natural laws without external intelligent intervention.
Velchev's work was a response to the book "The Grand Design" by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow, which claims that God is not needed to explain the emergence of the Universe. The Bulgarian scientist demonstrates the limitations of a purely materialistic approach in three key areas: galaxy formation, abiogenesis, and species evolution. He shows that randomness has its limits, which cannot be overcome through purely natural mechanisms.
Velchev's article received positive reviews from professors and academics, who noted the scientific validity of the author's position. It is especially important that for the first time it was possible to refute the main counterargument of materialism – the Multiverse theory, which was previously opposed to the Anthropic Principle that the Universe is specially created for humans.
Velchev calls for an open scientific discussion, emphasizing that any scientist wishing to refute his argument will have to deal with both the mathematical and empirical parts of the proof. The argument has been translated into several languages and is available for comprehensive study by the scientific community. The scientist emphasizes that his work is aimed at overcoming one of the main beliefs of modern scientific thinking – that God is not needed to explain the origin and development of the Universe.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that British physicist Melvin Vopson published a study claiming that information is the fifth form of matter, alongside solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.
