On the night of February 11–12, 2026, as a result of drone strikes on the Synelnykove District of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, St Nicholas Church and the parish house of the Dnipropetrovsk Eparchy of the UOC in the settlement of Vasylkivka were damaged, the eparchy’s press service reported.

According to the press service, the blasts blew out windows, damaged the roof, and partially destroyed interior sections of the church.

No parishioners or clergy were injured.

To assist with restoration work, the eparchy published the details of the rector of the affected parish, Archpriest Vitaliy Sopivnyk.

As the UOJ previously reported, shelling in Konotop damaged a church and the UOC eparchial administration building.
