On March 28, 2026, the OCU website published photographs showing Epifaniy Dumenko and other OCU “hierarchs” holding an event inside the UOC-KP patriarchate building on Chykalenko Street (formerly Pushkinska) in Kyiv.
The OCU press service made no mention of the event itself in the accompanying text, but until Filaret’s death, representatives of Dumenko’s structure had been barred from entering the building.
At the same time, the OCU has for many years claimed that both the UOC-KP patriarchate building and St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral legally belong to it.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Dumenko had taken control of St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral in Kyiv.
