On June 11, 2026, the head of the Constantinople Patriarchate, Patriarch Bartholomew, led the Liturgy on the feast day of his heavenly patron at St. George's Church in his native village of Agio-Theodori on the Turkish island of Imbros. Concelebrating with him at the service were the Primate of the Bulgarian Church, Patriarch Daniil, and the Primate of the Romanian Church, Patriarch Daniel.

During the service, Patriarch Bartholomew commemorated OCU leader Epifaniy Dumenko at the Great Entrance in the list of heads of the autocephalous Churches. The commemoration of the OCU leader took place despite the lack of recognition of the structure by the Bulgarian and Romanian Churches.

As the UOJ reported, Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus commemorated Dumenko at a liturgy in Romania.
