Pope: Europe must pursue creative paths of peace in solving Ukrainian issue
The pontiff stated that he dreams of a Europe that employs its immense talents to resolve conflicts.
Pope Francis, during his visit to Portugal, declared that Europe lacks "creative paths" to end the war in Ukraine, reports the Vatican News website.
"Where are you sailing if you are not showing the world paths of peace, creative ways for bringing an end to the war in Ukraine and to the many conflicts causing so much bloodshed?" he noted.
Pope Francis also stated, "I dream of a Europe, the heart of the West, which employs its immense talents to settling conflicts and lighting lamps of hope.”
As previously reported, Pope Francis called on Russian "brothers" to resume the grain deal.
