Israel strikes two mosques in Gaza
The Israeli military claim that the mosques housed military infrastructure.
On the night of October 8, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on two mosques located in the Gaza Strip, according to the telegram channel of the Israel Defense Forces.
The message states that the mosques contained military infrastructure facilities that the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip used to launch attacks against Israel.
Israeli military officials claim that Hamas "exploits religious sites and intentionally places its military assets in the midst of civilian populations."
Earlier, the UOJ reported that one of the goals of the attack on Israel, according to statements by Hamas leaders, was the liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
