In the capital, security measures will be strengthened on Easter night, and the curfew will remain unchanged.

In Kyiv, during the Easter celebration period, the curfew will remain unchanged despite the holding of festive services. This was reported by the capital's police press secretary Anna Strashok.

According to her, in most churches, services will be held in the evening and the morning of the following day. Some communities plan to conduct night services. Believers are advised to consider the restrictions related to martial law.

The police representative stated that law enforcement officers understand situations when people are forced to leave churches at night, but urged believers to plan their stay in advance so that they can remain in church throughout the entire night if possible.

It is reported that Easter services will be held in approximately 160 churches in the capital. In connection with this, security measures will be strengthened: the number of patrols will increase, including near churches.

In addition, police warn of possible selective checks of citizens' documents and personal belongings. Such measures, law enforcement officers claim, are aimed at preventing provocations and ensuring security during the holidays.

As the UOJ wrote, police urged Ukrainians not to attend Easter service.
