In Khust, thousands of believers hold procession with Martyr Gabriel's relics
About ten thousand believers walked through the streets of Khust with the relics of martyr Gabriel of Białystok.
In the Transcarpathian city of Khust, about ten thousand believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took part in a traditional religious procession. The clergy and parishioners carried the relics of the Holy Martyr Gabriel of Białystok through the streets of the city, reports the UOC Information Center.
Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv led the procession of thousands of worshippers. Vicar of the Khust Diocese Archbishop Simeon of Uholka, Bishop Benjamin of Skadovsk, and Vicar of the Khust Eparchy Bishop Mark of Rakhiv prayed together with the ruling hierarch. The participants of the religious procession offered prayers for peace in Ukraine.
Near the Alley of Warriors, the clergy performed a memorial litia for fallen servicemen. The clergy honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. The believers concluded the procession at the Cyril and Methodius Cathedral.
As the UOJ reported, UOC believers participated in procession with St. Spyridon's relics in Corfu.
