On June 11, 2024, during a private meeting with priests, Pope Francis revealed that there is an "atmosphere of faggotry" in the Vatican.

Addressing the priests, the Pope recalled his conversation with a "Monsignor working in the Vatican", as reported by the Italian website Silere Non Possum.

"A Monsignor working in the Vatican once told me: 'Your Holiness, I want to say one thing: the gay culture here bothers me,'" said the Pope.

"I replied to this person: 'Yes, there is an atmosphere of faggotry here. It's true, it exists in the Vatican. But listen, Monsignor, today for our culture it's a great honor,'" the Pope added.

"Let's be careful, let's not despise people with homosexual tendencies, but let's accompany them, there are many good people among them. Accompany them, help them. Guide them to psychologists. However, please, be careful when accepting them into the seminary," the Pope said.

According to his words, "if a boy wants to enter the seminary and has homosexual tendencies – stop him."

"This is what the Dicastery for the Clergy said, and I support it. Because today homosexual culture has advanced greatly, and there are good guys who seek the Lord, but one had better not do it, one had better not do it," he doubled down.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to the Pope, there are too many "faggots" in Catholic seminaries.
