US Department of Health Identified a Link Between Transgender Ideology and the Justification of Violence

A new study commissioned by the US Department of Health and Human Services has identified a link between gender ideology and the justification of political violence. This was reported by LifeSiteNews.

The paper, titled "Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left-Wing Authoritarian Psychology?", surveyed 1,208 American adults. The authors found that so-called "left-wing authoritarianism" is positively associated with the justification of violence across six categories: the killing of Charlie Kirk, the killing of Donald Trump, the killing of Brian Thompson, arson attacks on immigration service buildings, damage to the property of wealthy individuals, and violence against police. The researchers concluded that gender ideology "may function as an ideological accelerant," pointing violence-prone individuals toward enemies and legitimizing the use of force.

The document notes that gender ideology identifies alleged "sources of harm" — conservatives, Christians, police, and people who do not identify as LGBT — and frames disagreement with gender "affirmation" not merely as a difference of opinion, but as the infliction of physical harm, thereby making coercive affirmation and institutional pressure morally justified in the eyes of those who hold such a psychology.

In May, the Trump administration's "2026 US Counter-Terrorism Strategy" named transgender ideology as one of the primary domestic security threats, on a par with drug cartels and Islamist terrorist groups.

As the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported, the first openly transgender member of a US legislature was sentenced for the sexual abuse of children.
