Azov holds “sacral mystery” for the Day of the Dead
A pagan rite dedicated to the Day of the Dead was carried out by the Azov Brigade.
A “sacral mystery” was held by "Azov" in observance of the Day of the Dead. This was reported by serviceman of the brigade Oleksii Reins on his Telegram channel.
A representative of the organization stated that “the Day of the Dead is a sacral mystery of our milieu.”
“It is the date when we remember all those who have acquired eternal life in struggle. On this night, metaphorically, the dead fall into formation with the living – as witnesses that they remain with us and call us to continue our common struggle. We remember. We will avenge!” Reins wrote in his post.
The video shows the performance of this ritual within "Azov" units.
As the UOJ reported earlier, Denys Prokopenko, commander of the Azov Brigade (callsign “Redis”), called on Ukrainian authorities to include priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in prisoner exchanges with Russia.
