Radical David Pshenychny, during a protest outside the court hearing on the Upper Lavra, recorded a video address in which he stated that every conscious Ukrainian dreams of beheading UOC hierarchs.
In the video, the activist shows red jars with portraits of Orthodox bishops inside, imitating severed heads. According to him, this is "all that is left of them (the metropolitans)". The radical states that this action is a symbol of what every Ukrainian dreams of doing to the hierarchs, but "good people must wait for better times to cleanse Ukraine". Whom Pshenychny means by "good people" he did not specify.
The radical David Pshenychny regularly takes part in actions against the UOC. During the seizure of the Cherkasy cathedral, he opened fire with a pistol at parishioners right inside the cathedral. Pshenychny also periodically stages provocations against Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy.
As the UOJ reported, an activist who harasses UOC lawyers wears clothing with Nazi symbols.
